
I picked up this book because I recently became a vegetarian. Making the transition was difficult because everyone around me still ate meat. This book caught my attention because the target audience is black women.
Tracye did a wonderful job making the book an easy read. The book is very informative but does not come off like you are reading a text book, like other nutrition books that I have attempted to read in the past.
She also includes some simple recipes in the book as well. the recipes I tried so far are the smoothies. By Any greens Necessary is a great book for individuals who want to transition to vegan diet.
